Sam Bly Design is an eclectic collection of entomology terrarium art, digitally drawn stickers, thrifted art signs and skull/bone art.
In the spring of 2022, I began working with insects and bones to preserve their beauty, and give them a second life. I rehydrate moths and butterflies, pin their wings open, and arrange them into thrifted containers, terrariums and frames for us to admire and enjoy for years to come.
All bugs and bones are ethically sourced. Bugs are usually sourced from butterfly farms, or gifted to me by friends who found them after they have expired. Bones are sourced from taxidermists or found in nature, previously passed away.
